“Juventus’ Bold Move to Outsmart West Ham in Todibo Talks-Details Inside”!
Juventus is reportedly stepping up its chase of OGC Nice defender Jean-Clair Todibo, who was previously linked with Manchester United and West Ham United.
The centre-back was set to join Old Trafford, but because its owners, INEOS, also own Nice, UEFA effectively banned the transfer.
Todibo put West Ham on hold after learning of Juventus’ interest, opting to wait for the Bianconeri instead.
Juve develops a plan for Todibo
According to Sportitalia transfer analyst Alfredo Pedullà, the asking price can be substantially lower than €40 million, and the cost can be further reduced by incorporating a player in the deal.
Nice is interested in players such as Arkadiusz Milik and winger Filip Kostic.
Juventus previously signed Khephren Thuram from Nice this week and will most likely discuss Todibo with the Ligue 1 club during the same negotiations.
He is 24 years old and moved from Barcelona to Nice on loan in February 2021 before signing a permanent contract in the summer for €8.5 million.
