Kevin Durant drops 32 as Phoenix Suns continue five-game win streak with 123-115 win over warriors
Kevin Durant dropped 32 points and eight rebounds to help Phoenix extend its win streak to five games with a 123-115 victory over the Golden State Warriors. It was KD’s fifth-straight game with 30 points or more.
This matchup marked Chris Paul’s first time back in Phoenix since being traded, but he was ejected in the second quarter.
This game ended up being much closer and longer than it should have, as the Warriors got back into the game despite choosing not to play Steph Curry and Klay Thompson late in the game. It was also drawn out by the Suns taking 52 total free throws.
“I felt like we played a great game,” Durant said in spite of this. “We made them have to go deep into that bag and try to figure out something different.”
Phoenix now gears up to play its final NBA In-Season Tournament Game Friday night in Memphis against the Grizzlies.
