Now that the international break has begun, Celtic have players who will serve their country and others who will stay behind to improve their game.

With this season’s title being the most lucrative in Scottish football history, Brendan Rodgers’ £60 million Champions League payout if he wins the league could be a game changer for Celtic.

It would widen the financial gap between them and Rangers, allowing Celtic to maintain their dominance in Scottish football for years to come.

However, in order to accomplish this, they must have all of their top players operating at full capacity. Celtic have struggled to find their groove due to injury issues, but as we saw against St Johnstone on Saturday, key players are now settling in.

One of them is Kyogo Furuhashi. The Japanese striker has struggled to regain the goal-scoring form that earned him the SPFL Top Goalscorer award last season, but he has recently returned to his best.

And this morning, Kyogo sent a brilliant vow to Celtic fans on Instagram as the title race heats up now that the team is back on top of the league.

Despite missing out on an international call from Hajime Moriyasu this time, Kyogo’s determination to succeed with Celtic has never wavered.

With two goals and an assist in his last two games, the striker is on fire, and to be honest, he could have had more against St Johnstone if not for the offside flag and the Perth side’s woodwork.

Kyogo is hitting form just at the right time of the season for Celtic and there is no doubt he will have a huge say in where this title is going to end up in May.

In other news, Brendan Rodgers provides an update on Cameron Carter-Vickers, and Celtic decides to take an international break.
