Leeds United face Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest battle for Man City player
According to the Telegraph, sides from England, Germany and Italy have all taken an interest in signing McAtee, who is believed to be unsettled amid a lack of game time at the Etihad Stadium.
Having previously excelled in the Championship, McAtee made a loan move to Sheffield United and flourished at Bramall Lane in the 2022–2023 season, helping the Blades earn a return to the Premier League.

Interest increasing in James McAtee amid Leeds United links
There is plenty of interest in the player at this stage, with Brentford, Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and West Ham United all thought to have him on their radar.
In the wake of Michael Olise’s summer departure, Palace might still be searching for additional inventiveness.
A transfer to Selhurst Park would be appealing to him because he might have the chance to excel there.
However, given that the Reds are really ahead of City in the table, Forest might not be the place he ends up.
Depending on City’s position, a move to the City Ground might or might not be feasible given Nuno’s team’s current success.
These clubs could provide the 22-year-old with the opportunity to remain in England, but he could also move abroad, according to the Telegraph.
