The Milwaukee Bucks’ 131-124 win over the Miami Heat on Tuesday night did not come without a price. Milwaukee lost swingman Pat Connaughton in the second quarter due to an ankle injury and the 30-year-old was unable to return to the game.

At this point, there’s a big question mark looming over Connaughton’s status for Milwaukee’s upcoming matchup against the Chicago Bulls on Thursday.

Unfortunately, Bucks head coach Adrian Griffin was not able to provide an update on the status of Connaughton moving forward. Speaking to reporters after the game, the rookie shot-caller admitted that he does not have much information available:

Pat is back Milwaukee Bucks
Pat C continues to be an integral part of the Milwaukee’s success.

That doesn’t sound very enocuraging. Then again, the Bucks could just be erring on the side of caution here and for all we know, this is nothing more than a minor knock for Connaughton.

Milwaukee fans are definitely hoping that this is the case because losing Connaughton now would be a tough blow for the team. They are alrerady without Jae Crowder, which means that they’re going to be considerably thin on the wing if Connaughton is sidelined.

For what it’s worth, rookie Andre Jackson Jr. hit a couple of big threes down the stretch to help keep Miami at bay on tuesday night, so he could be in line for more run if Connaughton is forced to miss time.
