Minute of Silence to Be Held at Bayern Munich vs Celtic Champions League Clash

Published

on

Before kick-off in tonight’s Champions League clash between Bayern Munich and Celtic, a minute of silence will be observed in memory of the victims of last week’s tragic attack in Munich.

The devastating incident left several people injured, with some tragically losing their lives. As a mark of respect, both clubs will unite in paying tribute to those affected, pausing to reflect on the events that have deeply impacted the local community.

In times like these, football becomes secondary, and the Allianz Arena is expected to stand together in solidarity during this solemn moment.

The match itself sees Celtic arrive in Germany looking to overturn a 2-1 first-leg deficit. More than 3,000 traveling fans will be in attendance, hoping to witness a memorable European performance from Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Rodgers has urged his players to approach the game with courage and belief as they take on the Bundesliga leaders. Kick-off is scheduled for 8:00 PM GMT, with the minute of silence taking place immediately after the teams take the field.
