‘Never experienced’: Hollywood Oscar winner admits he’s now a Celtic fan after Parkhead encounter
Waltz told Celtic TV, “Look, I can’t decide between the feeling of being honoured and the excitement to be invited to the Glasgow Derby.
Waltz was thrilled to watch Celtic vs. Rangers and felt “honoured.”
Waltz talks about how he was invited to the Glasgow Derby while filming a remake of the Frankenstein classic in Glasgow.
🗣 "I've never experienced anything like it!"

Here’s where you can witness his obvious excitement during a class moment as he watches the Celtics come out of the tunnel to warm up before the Rangers game begins:
“On the set, everyone was envious when they heard that I would be here. “Don’t worry, guys, I’ll tell you how it went,” I then said.
We talk a lot about it, but you can understand my excitement—I’ve never felt anything like it—being here with you at this close range for the first time.
“All I can say is that I would be wearing a green jersey if Bayern Munich and Celtic were to play each other in Munich.”
Hollywood’s newest Celtics supporter
Waltz’s expression was priceless as his team, led by Brendan Rodgers, ran out of the tunnel before kickoff.
All Celtic supporters experience the same emotion that Waltz did whenever they see their heroes, enter the stadium, or have an unusual experience at the team.
That’s what the Celtics do. What makes this club so unique is the sense of belonging it offers to both new and old supporters. Waltz’s response will likely win over the Celtic supporters, and it appears that the Parkhead club has gained a new supporter as a result of providing this incredible experience.
