Nottingham Forest also keen on Arsenal’s star forward

Clearly, Forest are looking to bring in a new striker over the final two weeks of the transfer window with a number of targets on their radar.

Forest are also keeping an eye on Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah with his potential move to Bournemouth now off the cards.

Despite Chris Wood’s incredible season the previous time around, it appears that Forest wants to add a new striker.

It is certainly worth questioning why Forest has waited until the last few weeks to make a serious attempt to sign a new striker, especially considering how well they have performed in the transfer market elsewhere.

According to Sky Sports, Forest are showing a real interest in signing Eddie Nketiah this summer with his future away from north London.

Crystal Palace is also showing interest in Nketiah following the collapse of a possible transfer to Bournemouth in the last few hours.

However, as the summer window closes, the Reds have already looked into the conditions of a potential deal with the Gunners.

Is Eddie Nketiah a player Nottingham Forest should sign?

With just five goals in his first season in the top flight, the striker for Arsenal has definitely been hot and cold.
But if he can get a string of games under his belt—which hasn’t happened at the Emirates—this striker has “unbelievable” potential. From being dropped by Chelsea academy to starring for Arsenal, Eddie Nketiah has seen it all | Football News - The Indian Express

Even teams that typically compete in the Champions League have expressed a genuine interest in signing him, as demonstrated by the likes of Marseille who have already demonstrated their interest this summer.
However, considering that Nketiah is far from a proven striker in the Premier League, Forest may be taking a risk if they sign him.
