Ibrahim Sangare, a player Nottingham Forest wanted prior to that deal, may now be headed for a significant transfer. Nottingham Forest signed Sangare in the summer.

One of the Reds’ main summer transfer targets is the defensive midfielder.

Though they had to wait until Brennan Johnson was sold to Tottenham in order to finalise the deal, he was at the top of the club’s shortlist.

AC Milan is interested in Youssouf Fofana.
The midfield player who was linked to Forest prior to them signing Sangare is now expected to depart Monaco, so this one is definitely worth watching.

There was a shortlist that included Youssouf Fofana, and it was believed that Forest had made an offer for the player.

But Monaco remained steadfast and chose to hang onto their player for a minimum of one more season.

It seems that the San Siro giants are in the lead to sign the player, according to Sempre Milan.

With four goals and four assists in his Ligue 1 season, Fofana has had a respectable campaign.

However, Monaco is in a bit of a pickle because Fofana’s contract expires in the summer.

It is said that they would now consider offers exceeding £25 million this summer in light of this.

Sangare might improve at Forest the following year.

The £30 million signing from PSV hasn’t had the best season, but he isn’t to be written off just yet.

Sangare arrived at the club after the season had already begun, which caused him to fall behind in his training.

Despite having participated in a few games for PSV, they were unable to adequately prepare him for the rigours of the Premier League.

Sangare is still one of Forest’s best players, and he’s not the only one who needs some time to get used to life in the Premier League.

The Ivorian may need to focus on his preseason this summer, and hopefully Forest won’t look back and regret not signing Milan-bound Fofana.
