Nottingham Forest to close deal in ‘next few hours’ – Ready to fly to England

Nottingham Forest have made progress in their pursuit of Fiorentina’s Nikola Milenković, according to multiple Italian reports.

The defender joined the Serie A club in 2017 and is now ‘increasingly closer’ to joining Nottingham Forest.

That is according to journalist Gianluca Di Marzio, who claims Fiorentina is planning to part ways with the 26-year-old this summer.

Di Marzio says La Viola lawyers and the Reds are working out the details, and the deal will be completed for €12 million plus bonuses on Tuesday.

It is claimed that Nottingham Forest and Fiorentina have ‘almost defined’ a deal worth around €12 million plus €3 million in bonuses. The Premier League club will offer the centre-back a five-year contract with the same salary he currently receives in Italy.

TMW adds that the player appears’ready to fly to England’, implying that the two clubs are finalising the details of this transaction.

Sport Mediaset confirms TMW’s claim, stating that the Italian club will sell Milenković to Nottingham Forest for €15 million including bonuses within the next few hours.
