NOTTINGHAM FOREST’S STAR PLAYER HOPES HIS LOAN MOVE WILL BE MADE PERMANENT
Orel Mangala (26), who is currently on loan at Olympique Lyonnais from Nottingham Forest, hopes to stay there in the long run.
As part of Lyon’s winter hiring spree, which saw the team become the biggest spenders in Europe, Mangala joined the team. If they were to exercise Mangala’s purchase option, the deal for him in particular might turn out to be the largest in Lyon’s history.
Despite having only ten appearances in all competitions since moving to France, the midfielder’s playing time has been restricted. Nevertheless, he has managed to score twice in his few appearances.
Nevertheless, Mangala seems to have had a good time in Lyon, and in an interview with the media, he stated that the team should consider making his transfer from the Premier League permanent.
Orel Mangala desires to stay in Lyon.
“I feel good here, even though a few physical issues have prevented me from continuing,” the midfield player said. I’m content with my season and the trust that was bestowed upon me. The option to buy? Yes, I do hope that it will be activated. It remains to be seen, though, if Lyon has seen enough in the midfielder to shatter their transfer record.
