Latest Nottingham Forest news as full-back reportedly in demand after struggling for game time at City Ground

According to Spanish media, Sevilla are keen to recall Gonzalo Montiel from his loan at Nottingham Forest six months earlier than planned due to ‘interest’ from another club.

The full-back joined the City Ground on a season-long loan during the summer transfer window, but he has yet to play regularly for the club.
The 26-year-old has only appeared four times in the Premier League this season and has not played since the 0-0 draw with Crystal Palace in October. The defender returned to the bench against Tottenham for the first time in four games, but he was an unused substitute.
According to Sevilla ABC, the player’s lack of minutes has been a problem for him, especially since he completed the transfer to Forest because he was ‘dissatisfied’ with his substitute role at his parent club. According to the report, this is one of the reasons why the loan is expected to be ‘broken’ when the January transfer window opens.
