Jamie Carragher praised Nottingham Forest’s Danilo during the Reds’ 3-2 defeat at Brentford yesterday.

The Sky Sports pundit made the claim during the game’s live coverage.

What Jamie Carragher said about Forest player Danilo
He was very impressed by the Brazilian after he opened the scoring in the third minute of the game.

His touch and volley went into the net, giving Forest an early advantage over the Bees.

Following the goal, Carragher praised the scintillating strike as a brilliant piece of technique.

On Sky Sports, he stated, “That goal is absolutely out of this world, regardless of the defence.” “It is fantastic.”
Danilo followed up his Forest goal in the FA Cup against Blackpool with another striker, but this one was spectacular.

In our opinion, Danilo is beginning to thrive under regular game time, and he will now strive for consistency.
Danilo must continue performing under Nuno Espirito Santo.

Since joining the club, Espirito Santo has given Danilo more playing time than he had under Steve Cooper.

However, with Ibrahim Sangare expected to return after the African Cup of Nations, Danilo will need to continue to perform well.

There is, of course, a sense that Sangate and Danilo could play on the same team, with one being more defensive than the other.

Yesterday, Forest manager Espirito Santo will have seen what Danilo was all about, and his goal was simply breathtaking.

With competition for midfield positions fierce, Danilo’s performances will ensure his place in the Forest team.
