The kits have players’ names on the back and police have appealed to the public for help

Thieves took thirty Nottingham Forest uniforms from the coach’s car, which is owned by the women’s team, and the police are searching for them. Senior investigators said that the offenders broke into coach Carly Davies’ vehicle when it was parked outside her Clifton house.

A force spokesperson said: “The shirts are distinctive due to the sponsor being unique to the Women’s Team.

Because of the sponsor’s name on the front of the shirts, the distinctive kits—which come with training gear—are different from the others. The public is asked to keep an eye out for the kits after the incident on September 12, according to Nottinghamshire Police.

“The kits will have the players’ names on the back along with player number and not many of these shirts have been sold but are available to fans.” Anyone with information on the incident is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police on 101, quoting incident number 098 of September 12.
August 2023 saw the appointment of Carly Davies as head coach of Nottingham Forest Women. Davies joined the team having spent more than 20 years as a player and coach with Aston Villa.
