Rams’ Jared Verse: “I hate Eagles fans, they’re so annoying”
Rams linebacker Jared Verse isn’t holding back his feelings about Eagles fans ahead of Sunday’s Divisional Round clash in Philadelphia.

The Pennsylvania native expressed his disdain for the fanbase in a candid interview with the Los Angeles Times.
“I hate Eagles fans,” Verse said. “They’re so annoying. I hate Eagles fans. . . . When I see that green and white I hate it. I actually get upset. Like I actually genuinely get hot.”
Verse recounted his experience from the Rams’ regular-season meeting with the Eagles in Los Angeles, where SoFi Stadium was filled with vocal Eagles fans who hurled obscenities in his direction.

“I didn’t even do nothing to ‘em,” Verse said. “It was my first time playing. Oh, I hate Eagles fans.”
If Verse thought the reception in Los Angeles was hostile, Sunday at Lincoln Financial Field will likely be even more intense. Philadelphia fans are infamous for their passionate—sometimes over-the-top—support of their team, and Verse’s comments are sure to add fuel to the fire.
