Rangers dealt ‘huge blow’ in pursuit of Premier League star as Celtic enter race for Serie A midfielder

Sima joined Rangers on a season-long loan in June, and his performances have made a significant impact. The 23-year-old winger scored an impressive 16 goals across all competitions, demonstrating his versatility by playing in both wide and No.9 roles. Rangers’ current struggle to secure funding for Sima has been described as a ‘huge blow’ to the club.
Celtic is ‘involved’ in the race for Serie A midfielder.
With the ball rolling for Celtic following the signings of Kasper Schmeichel and Viljami Sinisalo, they are looking for more ways to strengthen their squad this summer. According to Italian transfer specialist Gianluca di Marzio, the Hoops are interested in signing Venetian midfielder Tanner Tessmann.

The 22-year-old US native had been in talks with Inter, but those talks have ‘come to a halt’ because the Nerazzurri were unable to reach an agreement with Tessmann’s representatives. Other clubs have joined the race, including Celtic, Brentford, Torino, Parma, and Como.

Tessmann is a defensive midfielder by trade, but he managed seven goals and three assists last season as Venezia advanced to Serie A.
