Ref and VAR named for Olympiacos vs Rangers clash in the Europa League.
UEFA has confirmed that a German officiating team will oversee the Europa League match between Rangers and Olympiacos.
Philippe Clement’s side will face the Greek club on Thursday night in the revamped league phase of the European competition.
UEFA has announced the officials for the match in Greece.
Sascha Stegemann will be in the middle of the Europa League match.
He will be assisted by Marco Achmulkler and Christof Gunsch, who will run the line. The fourth official is Florian Badstubner.
Soren Storks is on VAR duty, assisted by Gunter Perl.
Stegemann has previously refereed one Rangers match, in 2023.
Last season, the German refereed Rangers’ 0-0 draw with Sparta Prague in the Europa League group stage.
That match ended 0-0, with Stegemann issuing five yellow cards: four to Rangers players and one to the home team.
