Nottingham Forest make their decision on James Ward-Prowse ahead of January.

James Ward-Prowse has made just eight Premier League appearances this season and has been in and out of the Nottingham Forest squad.

The inconsistencies and the red card against Chelsea haven’t helped.

With the transfer window approaching, many believed that he may have his loan revoked in January to make room for a possible incoming player, but that isn’t the case.

According to the Athletic, Nuno values James Ward-Prowse as a positive influence around the dressing room and there are no plans to terminate his loan.

James Ward-Prowse’s experience and skill are undoubtedly significant, but until there is an injury crisis, it is unlikely that he will see much playing time.

In the hierarchy, he is behind players like Morgan Gibbs-White, Ryan Yates, Elliot Anderson, and Nicolas Dominguez, while Ibrahim Sangare and Danilo will soon make their comebacks.

One annoying aspect of Ward-Prowse’s loan is that, without the cancellation of his or the permanent signing of Alex Moreno, the club is unable to go out and sign another player on loan in January.

It appears that they will not do either at this time.
