Chiefs at Crystal Palace have differed over a multi-club ownership structure as John Textor is expected to sell his share to replace Farhad Moshiri at Everton, according to The Standard.

According to a report by Simon Collings on May 28, the Palace board decided to sell his ownership stakes in the team “amicably.”
Textor invested an additional 5% of his £87.5 million worth of Eagles shares last year, bringing his total holdings to 40%.

The American is also hoping to add Everton to his list of investments, which already includes shares in Belgian team RWD Molenbeek, Brazilian team Botafogo, and French team Lyon.

The fact that Palace’s management permitted him to leave the team this summer may have pleased the Toffees.

The negotiations between Moshiri and several prospective buyers of Everton seem to go on forever.
After extensive negotiations with the Toffees, it appeared as though 777 Partners would take ownership of the club.
These were stopped when Moshiri declined to carry on with those talks due to unsuccessful payments to Everton and Standard Liege, another club they owned.

Sean Dyche’s team was not ultimately hurt by the point deductions, but he will be relieved not to have to deal with anything similar in the future.

Textor has a track record of successfully collaborating with football teams, and the fact that he has experience in the Premier League is even more encouraging.

Since their promotion ten years ago, Palace has been a stable club in the division, and part of that stability can be attributed to the American’s efforts.

Everton supporters may see some hope if Texator joins the team, especially with the new stadium and upcoming season.
