Ryan Yates reacts to the Nottingham Forest fans’ chants about Gary Neville
Gary Neville is a bit of a villain at times in the punditry scene, but a great laugh either way.
Interestingly, Neville is actually turning into a bit of a Nottingham Forest fanboy, predicting a top half finish at least for the Reds after the impressive start to the season.
At the King Power Stadium on Friday night, though, the supporters jeered him and started singing about the former Manchester United defender.
It went something like, “Gary Neville is a…” but we can’t tell you the actual words.
This was highly amusing for Ryan Yates, who had a back and forth with Neville on Sky Sports.
Jamie Carragher asked Yates.
“Who’s more popular, him (Neville) or me”.
Yates responded.
“Oh Gary. Did you hear what they were saying there?”
All whilst letting out a chuckle and pointing to the away section.
