According to Football Insider’s sources, Bayern Munich is very interested in signing Everton midfielder Amadou Onana this summer.

The German powerhouses have prioritised defensive midfield as they prepare their off-season transfer business.
As Bayern searches the market for the ideal addition, Onana “ticks a lot of boxes,” according to a reliable source who spoke with Football Insider.

Joao Palhinha of Fulham was on the verge of joining the Bavarian team in the summer of 2023, but the deal fell through as the transfer deadline drew near.

It’s thought that Bayern is now trying to future-proof their team by going after a younger player.

At 22, Onana is a good fit and has gained the respect of spectators since joining Everton in the Premier League in 2022.

The German powerhouses are aware that Everton must offload some of its best players in order to balance the books at Goodison Park, and rumours have it that Onana will probably be given up.
Prior to the summer transfer window, Football Insider reported in March that West Ham is once again interested in the Belgium international.
Before the midfield player joined Everton for a rumoured fee of just over £33 million, the Irons attempted to sign him two years prior.

This season, Onana has made 36 appearances for Sean Dyche’s team in all competitions, starting 29 of those games.

Next month, he will have the opportunity to showcase himself to potential suitors while representing Belgium at the European Championships in Germany.
