Star Enquired About Potential Move To Premier League Amid Interest From Nottingham Forest
Brian Brobbey has been asked whether he would be open to a move to the Premier League as Nottingham Forest look at signing him.
Before Friday’s deadline, Nuno Espirito Santo, the manager of Forest, is eager to expand his attacking options.
They have already made an attempt to sign Arsenal’s Eddie Nketiah and Feyenoord striker Santiago Gimenez, but neither deal appears to have much hope.
They are now focussing on the Ajax player, who showed last season that he could be a goal scoring threat for the Dutch powerhouse.
Two of the 22 goals Brobbey scored in the 43 games he played for Ajax last season came against Marseille during the Europa League group stages.
The Dutch publication Voetbal International claims that Brobbey has been questioned about his availability for a move to the Premier League, given Nottingham Forest’s strong interest.
The Tricky Trees are waiting for his reply.
Given they will be able to invest in other players with the proceeds from the sale, Ajax may be amenable to selling the 22-year-old.
