The £20 million player must be disappointed that he didn’t take the opportunity to join Nottingham Forest now.

Nottingham Forest promotion winner Djed Spence must be devastated that he chose not to join the club permanently in 2022.

The player is now set to join Genoa on loan after Leeds terminated his contract after only seven games at Elland Road.

Spence has struggled since joining Tottenham, leading some to question his decision.

Spence must be regretting his decision to snub Forest.
Everything was going so well for Spence at Forest. He had revived his career and pointed a firm two fingers at Neil Warnock, who had dumped him at Middlesbrough.

However, Spence appeared to have his head turned by Tottenham, and despite helping Forest to the Premier League, he did not sign permanently.
The youngster has made only six appearances for Spurs, including one against Forest last season, but spent the season on loan at Rennes.

He is now set to sign with Genoa, and things could have turned out very differently for Spence at Forest.
Cooper was great for Spence, but he must have serious regrets.

Spence appeared to be set to join Forest following his promotion to the Premier League.

He made 50 appearances for the Reds during the promotion-winning season, collaborating brilliantly with Brennan Johnson.
Spence scored three goals and assisted five times for Forest, and if he had been interested, the club would have made an offer.

Footballers must sometimes think logically rather than just consider the bulge in their wallet!

Spence, as a young man, is now on a contract worth around £47,000 per week at Tottenham, and it’s difficult to blame him for wanting to take such a deal.

However, it’s not like he wouldn’t have been well compensated at Forest and would have been a regular in the Premier League last season.

Spence will now have the opportunity to play in Serie A for half of the season, which is far from a nightmare scenario.

Things could have turned out very differently, and Spence must be kicking himself for not working harder to make a permanent Forest switch happen in 2022.

in other news, Nottingham Forest are set to sign 18-year-old gem from Rangers.
