Could Celtic’s performance yesterday have marked a significant turning point in the title fight? The team has been passive and unaggressive for far too long, and it appears that Brendan Rodgers could have brought those crucial elements back yesterday.
During the first forty-five minutes of the match against Motherwell, it appeared that Rodgers’ team would continue to struggle as they tried in vain to defeat Stuart Kettlewell’s team.

Indeed, The Steelmen appeared more likely to score in the first half of the match, and they did so rightfully when Blair Spittal found space and fired past the defenceless Joe Hart. This was made possible by a masterful move by Lennon Miller.

Nevertheless, the moment Adam Idah entered the picture, the game changed dramatically as the Republic of Ireland international’s double helped Celtic win a crucial three points in the race for the championship.

With his double, the 23-year-old striker was ecstatic. He wrote the following message to Celtic fans on Instagram:

Enjoyed today. Massive thank you to the away end!

Former and current teammates Shane Duffy and Luis Palma expressed their admiration for the young player in response to the message.
In the brief time Idah has been at the team, it is evident that the two players have a close bond developing. Palma’s message is translated as “Brother.”

We previously reported on how the Norwich on-loan player was taken aback by what it’s like to play for Celtic. On the other hand, the Irishman is beginning to settle in at the club.Idah has helped Celtic out of a bind twice already this season, with four goals in five games. Based on the image above, it appears that the Hoops fanbase is adoring the new Bhoy.

In other news, Stephen McGinn wonders if the 23-year-old deserves to play for Celtic once more at this point.
