Top 5 Nottingham Forest Manager’s of the last 50 years – ORDER BY DATE/SEQUENCE THEY MANAGED THE CLUB.

• Number 1 (Top 1) – Brian Clough (no explanation needed really) – some of his Forest achievements were Promotion to the top flight, won the League Title, added 2 league cups and back-to-back European Cups, UEFA Super Cup, 2 more league cups, 2 full members cups plus more! Also had Forest as league runners up once, and three 3rd place finishes… and 10 more top half finishes in the top flight.

• Number 2 – Frank Clark, guided Forest back to the Premier League at the first attempt. Finished 3rd in the Premier League and reach the QF in a major European competition (UEFA Cup). Last full season had Forest finish 8th in the Premier League.

• Number 3 – Dave Bassett, returned Forest to the Premier League by winning the Championship (then Division 1) in style. The Clubs highest points total in a season (94 pts).

• Number 5 – Nuno Espírito Santo, kept Forest in the Premier League. Guided Forest to 6 straight top flight wins for the first time since 1967. Won at Anfield & Old Trafford in the league, in the same season. Has Forest in the best position after half a season played for the first time since the 1980’s.
