Two Nottingham Forest stars and Jonathan Panzo react as Callum Hudson-Odoi makes intriguing post
Jonathan Panzo, two Nottingham Forest players, and Callum Hudson-Odoi shared a thought-provoking Instagram message.
Since the end of the season, there have been rumours that the 23-year-old Reds player could be leaving the City Ground.
The player has been linked to Tottenham, but it’s also been reported that other teams are keeping an eye on him.
Hudson-Odoi scored eight goals in the 2023–24 season after joining Forest for a mere £3 million in the summer.
It’s not surprising that there is rumour about his future, but he recently shared a thought-provoking message on Instagram.
On social media, Callum Hudson-Odoi shares an inspiring message.
The young player will be grateful for the first team football after such a fantastic season.
In spite of rumours regarding his whereabouts, Hudson-Odoi now seems to indicate that he will return to Forest for the upcoming campaign.
Speaking on social media, he posted a highlight reel of his greatest moments from 2023 and 2024 along with a message that will no doubt please his fan base.
“23/25 season done,” he declared. We appreciate your tremendous support and will see you all again next season.
Jonathan Panzo and two players respond to the Hudson-Odoi message.
After a fruitless loan stint with Standard Liege, Panzo has returned to the City Ground, but it’s unclear what lies ahead.
Hudson-Odoi and Panzo were teammates on the England under-17 World Cup winning squad, and they have a close relationship.
Neco Williams and Ryan Yates, who also left mute comments on Hudson-Odoi’s post, have replied in addition to him.
From Forest’s perspective, the young player has been a fantastic addition, and hopefully, he can stay.
Forest must refrain from selling Hudson-Odoi
With Hudson-Odoi’s young age, Forest has a true gem on their hands.
In 2023, the Reds had to make sure their summer hiring was done correctly, and they succeeded in this regard.
It’s time to support Hudson-Odoi now, and the team needs to hold off on selling the winger this summer.
Clubs may be interested, but selling Hudson-Odoi and others to balance the books doesn’t necessarily mean Forest has to.
The regular game time at the City Ground will have been welcomed by the three-time England international.
It’s great that he plans to return for the upcoming season, and maybe the team can maintain its resolve.
