Jamie Vardy taunted Tottenham fans before being replaced after scoring for Leicester in the Premier League opener.

Vardy scored a superb header to level the score in Leicester’s season opener against Tottenham. While being substituted before full-time, he got into an argument with Spurs supporters and defender Romero after the goal gave the Foxes a point.. He appeared to be reminding the away fans that he had won the trophy and no Tottenham player had, while pointing to his Premier League badge.

Vardy was also seen telling Romero to “f*ck off” before leaving the pitch, following a number of physical clashes throughout the game. Spurs will be disappointed not to have won the game despite their dominance, but they will be concerned about Rodrigo Bentancur, who sustained a head injury.

Leicester face Fulham next weekend. Tottenham, in contrast, face Everton.
