Watch Dermot Desmond drop in to Irish pub to watch epic Scottish Cup semi final!
Barman Michael shared some video clips from Saturday’s Scottish Cup semi-final when Dermot Desmond stopped by to see how his team was doing. This is a true WORLD EXCLUSIVE on the Celtic World podcast.
Although the majority shareholder of Celtic appears to reside primarily in the Caribbean and North America, he was in the Italian capital over the weekend while the hoops were playing at Hampden for whatever reason.
With Celtic’s biggest shareholder choosing to watch the action from Glasgow with some friends, the local Irish pub is typically a good bet, just like for most fans who are travelling overseas on matchday and looking for somewhere to watch the game.
The Dubliner’s lengthy session came to a happy ending when Joe Hart dove to his left to stop Cillian Phillips’ penalty kick, sending Celtic to the championship game the following month.
Desmond will most likely be at Hampden for that game, where the Celtic World team will be represented globally. Hopefully, they will not witness victory through yet another thrilling penalty shootout.
