Watford Continues Talks With Other Clubs As Hornets Star Sees Exit Route Fail.
Watford are still in talks with clubs about selling Yaser Asprilla, but a move to French club Rennes has stalled.
Asprilla, 20, joined Watford in the January transfer window of 2022, leaving Colombian club Envigado.
He is expected to leave the Hornets this summer and has held talks with French club Rennes.
He appeared to be heading for the French side, but the deal has now fallen through, and he is returning to London on a private jet with his agent, according to Colombian journalist Pipe Sierra.

However, the collapse of the move does not guarantee Asprilla’s stay at Watford.
Watford are still in talks with other clubs interested in signing the 20-year-old this summer, while Rennes could try again to reach an agreement.
Last season, Asprilla made 44 Championship appearances for Watford, scoring six goals and assisting seven times.
The winger was a key player for the Hornets, and it remains to be seen how much Watford will gain from selling him.
