Ken Sema and his wife Sara recently celebrated the birth of their second child, which has given them a fantastic start to the new season even before a game has been played.

Ken and Sara both shared photos of their baby boy Romeo on Instagram, captioned: “Another beautiful blessing has come through!! We’re so grateful for you and your sister! #GodIsGreat #Blessed”

Sema’s teammates were quick to leave messages of congratulations in the comments, including Tom Dele-Bashiru, Jack Grieves, Mattie Pollock, and Jonathan Macaulay.

Along with the Watford Football Club’s message, kind remarks were also added from some of Sema’s previous teammates, which includes Christian Kabasele, William Troost-Ekong, Nathaniel Chalobah, and Jamal Lewis.

Meanwhile, Ken’s brother Maic, a professional footballer who currently plays for Sundsvall, sent a simple but perfectly sweet message: two red heart emojis.

Sema’s fellow Swedish internationals, including Issac Thelin, Isak Hien, and Mikael Lustig, sent their best wishes.

Sema is one of Vicarage Road’s most popular players, and fans have dubbed him ‘King Ken’.

The 30-year-old joined Vicarage Road in 2018 and is the club’s second longest-serving player.

Sema has played 159 games for the Hornets and scored 13 goals.

In May, he received the club’s Community Champion award in recognition of his role as a role model for young supporters and an inspiration to fans who stammer like him.

Sema collaborated with national charity Stamma, promoting the topic in newspapers and on television, including an interview with Sky Sports.

He recently met with speech and language specialists from the NHS and went to Harpenden Memorial Hospital to speak with other adults who stammer.

In an interview with The Watford Observer last season, Sema stated that he had developed strong feelings for the town and its people.

“Watford is very much a part of me and my family,” he said.

“The people of the town, the fans, they have always been supportive of me since day one.

“We’ve been through good and bad times together, and the fans have always been right behind me.

“Watford is my home. Watford is my club.”

Faxsoccer extends its congratulations to the Sema family.
